Mark Schwarzer Clinic 17 May 2008

On 17 May ’08 we had the privilege to welcome Mark Schwarzer and PJ Roberts to a session with some of our Football Passion and ANZA Soccer kids.
Mark is the first choice keeper for the English Premier League team Middlesborough FC and the Australian National Keeper. PJ is a famous ESPN TV Football Presenter and a former professional player.
Mark came to Singapore to promote his newest book ‘Megs, Scarves & Sombreros.’ We gathered more than 60 kids for this session, which gave them a chance to play some football, and to meet and learn from a professional player. The kids were aged between 6 and 16 years old.

It was a fantastic experience for the kids to meet, learn from and ask a professional player about his career, football games, famous players, big games, personal achievements and much more. The kids asked Mark a number of tough questions but he was very humble and patient and keen to give the kids as much information as possible. Mark took the time to share his personal experience and achievements as a renowned professional footballer. He was very patient and spent time answering questions, taking photos and signing caps, shirts, books and anything else the kids were throwing at him.
